Congolese urban afro makes the new generation dance
Diamant Noir excels in Afro urban music. His
inspiration arise from pan-African traditional music
and rhythms of his Bantu culture.
Dance has always been an obsession for Diamant Noir.
Even as a child of six he sings and dances everywhere,
despite the refusal of his parents.
Artists like Usher, Papa Wemba, Koffi Olomide Francis
Cabrel inspires him but big his idol is undoubtedly the
King of Pop - Michael Jackson.
Inspired by traditional Bantu, Pygmy, Peul and other
modern dances, Black Diamant establishes a group of
hip hop dancers called « New Bantu ». They received
many Awards, such as Gabao Hip-Pop contest, the
MTN Award, and they host the opening ceremony of
Miss Congo each year.
