Hailing from Sweden, JTR (John, Tom, Robin) are three very talented brothers who are now based in Brisbane, Australia.
JTR grew up in a musical family with a Swedish mother and Australian stepfather who were firmly established in the industry. With instruments everywhere, producing and songwriting became a daily occurrence and it was inevitable that the brother trio would set their sights on a musical career with such inspirational role models.
Their mother, Sarah Lundback Bell is a renowned singer and songwriter who achieved worldwide success writing for high profile international artists and achieving three number 1 Billboard chart hits. Her song ‘I Got A Boy’ performed by Girls Generation recently won video of the year over Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and One Direction. The song was also voted Top Five song in the world for 2013 by Time Magazine with Sarah featured in their December issue.
Their stepfather, Hayden Bell is a highly respected industry figure who spends his time as an A&R executive, publisher and songwriter. Hayden’s first break was his multi platinum signing of The Veronicas who he personally developed. In 2007 Hayden relocated to Sweden and launched the production powerhouse ‘The Kennel AB’ with over 22 writers signed, today The Kennel is the most successful independent publisher in Asia and Japan.
